Saturday 25th January - A Night at the Proms

The theme for this year's Proms night was 'Space' in order to coincide with the 50th anniversary celebrations of Apollo 11 and the first moon landing.  The programme featured music including 'Also Sprach Zarathrustra', 'Star Wars', 'Phoenix from War of the Worlds' and the march 'The Spacemen'.  The second half featured our traditional Proms set and we were delighted to be joined by vocal soloist Stephanie Lamplough and compere Jonathan Evans.
