Marc Richardson was born into Birmingham Citadel Corps and progressed to the Senior Band through the Junior Band.

He studied here in Birmingham, at Aston University, graduating with a BSc(Hons) in Maths and Business.  He went on to gain a PGCE in Primary Education from Birmingham University and became a Primary School Teacher before moving to Walsall Council, where he currently works as a Primary Computing Advisor.  

 

He is also a keen sportsman and for a great number of years played for and managed Birmingham Citadel F.C. each Saturday in the Birmingham A.F.A. League.
