Matthew Mynott arrived at Birmingham Citadel in 1975 aged just 2 years old.  He is a product of Birmingham Citadel Junior Band.  Matthew has played a number of instruments in the band but is currently enjoying a very successful spell on Bass Trombone.

In the corps, Matthew is a member of Birmingham Citadel Songsters as well as supporting the Sunday school and teaching the learners for the Junior Band.

Current Employment: Headteacher of Large Secondary School

Hobbies: Supporting Aston Villa, listening to music, reading, theatre, spending time with family
