As always it’s an immense privilege to be part of the City of Birmingham’s Remembrance Day service.  This year, we were the only Band present so we provided all the Band Music and marches for the Services to parade past the Cenotaph.

 

Lauren O’Connor captured the band in action with a series of photographs that can be found below.  The band marched troops onto the parade square, featured music during the laying of the wreaths including “Nimrod” and RSA’s glorious “Holy, Holy, Holy” before accompanying the singing of the hymn and National Anthem.   Finally, BCB led the troops and veterans on the parade through the streets of Birmingham, which were lined by those honouring those who gave their lives for our freedom.
