Following the tour of Canada last Easter, Birmingham Citadel Band were pleased to be sharing the Easter celebrations with family and friends at Birmingham Citadel this year.  The weekend started with a reflective service on Good Friday when the band featured the music “God So Love the World” and the Trombone Feature “From that Sacred Hill” before ending with the uplifting melody of “Power of the Cross”.

 

Easter Sunday saw an Easter Morning Celebration when the band featured the march “He Lives!” and “The Easter Message” before the band visited the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.  They distributed over 100 easter eggs and played familiar children’s TV melodies.  Even the “Easter Bunny” was there to greet band members!
