BCB commenced its Christmas carolling programme at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham this week. The band played Christmas Carols and festive melodies to the many thousands of visitors to the NEC as they bought all manner of different decorations, gifts and stocking fillers. But amongst the many shoppers were a collection of familiar “faces” who had been exhibiting in a neighbouring hall at the vast NEC.
The band were delighted that the celebrity “faces” even spared a few moments for a photo, although the enthusiasm of one particular legendary movie star nearly resulted in a new cornet player for the band as he attempted to play the Bandmaster’s cornet!
