On Saturday 22nd September and Sunday 23rd September we will be celebrating 125 Years of Birmingham Citadel Band. A concert at the Ruddock Arts Centre on the 22.9.18 will be preceded by an afternoon rehearsal for BCB and former members of the band. We encourage all former members of BCB to join us for this event.
The evening concert will feature the current BCB playing current repertoire (including "The Present Age”) in the first half. The second half will be a massed reunion band and will feature music that has been chosen to reflect our 125 year history of music ministry. The Sunday will include a morning meeting led by the band and then a lunch when we can eat together as a band and welcome those former members to join us.

Birmingham Citadel Band are proud to once again provide pre-contest music in the foyer of Birmingham's Symphony Hall at this year's British Open Band Contest. The band will begin playing at 8:45am and if you are attending this sold out event, or would simply like to support the band, we would love to see you there.
12th and 13th May 2018
Come and join Birmingham Citadel for a weekend of music and fellowship provided by Hendon Salvation Army band. The band will be playing a varied programme at the evening festival on Saturday 12th May 2018 at 7pm (tickets priced at £5), followed by shared worship on Sunday the 13th of May at 10:30 and 3:30pm.

5th and 6th May 2018
BCB will be visiting South Devon this Bank Holiday weekend. On the Saturday, we will be performing an outdoor concert at 12:30 on Exeter Cathedral Green, before leading a brass workshop at Exeter Temple at 3:00. An evening concert at Exeter Temple, starts at 6:30 and tickets are available for this concert at £5 by contacting 01392 822100 or DevonandCornwall@salvationarmy.org.uk.
On the Sunday, the band will lead worship at 10:30 at the Brixham, Newton Abbot, Painton, and Torquay SA Corps before a march of witness and outreach concert at Teighmouth Seafront at 2:30.

Birmingham Citadel Band returned to St Michael's Church, Sutton Coldfield to be part of a new recording in collaboration with Citadel Promotions, bringing together a Salvation Army Brass Band with a group of Saxophonists in this exciting project. More details will be provided when the recording is released in the new year.
21st and 22nd October 2017
Birmingham Citadel Band spent the weekend of 21-22 October at Staines Salvation Army for a fantastic weekend of music, witness and worship.
The Saturday evening concert was a sellout with extra chairs available for those who turned up without a ticket. The guest of honour was Stephanie Moore, wife of Bobby Moore, who is the head of the Bobby Moore Bowel Cancer charity which has raised over £23 million.

Birmingham Citadel Band would like to invite you to our weekly rehearsal. We rehearse every Thursday evening between 8pm-10pm at Birmingham Citadel Salvation Army. It should be noted that we tend not to rehearse during significant holiday weeks (for example Christmas and Easter).
