Only weeks after being the guest band at the Rotary Celebration in Anglican Cathedral in Birmingham, BCB found itself being the guest band for an event much closer to home.  It was a Divisional celebration for the Salvation Army in the West Midlands but was primarily an opportunity to celebrate the life and service of Divisional Commander Samuel Edgar on the occasion of his retirement.

BCB was joined by the Songsters (choir) from Droitwich Spa and the Singing Company (junior choir) from Coventry City Salvation Army.

The band featured a varied programme including Sam Creamer’s “Faith is the Victory”, Bramwell Coles’ classic march “In the Firing Line”, Paul Sharman’s “Everlasting Hope” and Martin Cordner’s “Let Everything Praise”.
